- 436th Contracting Squadron, Dover AFB DE intends to award a sole source, Firm-Fixed Price contract, under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures, to FLIR Systems, North Billerica, MA 01862-2501. This acquisition is sole source because the Thermal Vision 2000 Long Range Thermal Imagers (LRTI)- Cameras warranty provided by FLIR system who confirmed any outside vendor supplying the control station will make the warranty void. This acquisition is unrestricted. The NAICS code is 334511. The following will be procured: Burle Phillips Control Station Integration and Installation Support are required to be placed in a hardwired configuration and tied into and converted to a fiber optic connection using single mode fiber; offering an uninterrupted power supply and junction box to house and protect the fiber, cables and converters. Contractors interested in this requirement should submit a complete quote, which provides clear and convincing evidence that they can meet the Government's requirement. In addition, the response should include any special requirements for a commercial contract (i.e., Commercial Financing, Warranty Provisions, Delivery Information, etc.) in accordance with FAR Part 12. Anticipated Award date if funds become available by 30 September 2006. Responses must be received no later than (NLT) 3:00 p.m., Eastern Standard Time, September 28, 2006.
