- Description
- Contractor shall furnish all management, supervision, labor, parts, material, and equipment necessary to ?Repair 358th Fighter Squadron Operations Building, Bldg 5600, at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base Arizona. This is a Firm-Fixed price contract. Project includes, but is not limited to the following work elements necessary to construct projects FBNV 06-0076A Entitled: ?Construct Addition to 358 FS Squad Ops and FBNV 06-0076B Entitled: ?Renovate 358 Squad Ops Facility?. The work is described as follows: This is a Design-Build project, which consists of construction and renovation of the aforementioned facilities IAW the request for proposal and Statement of Work. This solicitation is restricted to 8(a) firms located in the state of Arizona. The applicable North American Industry Classification Code for this solicitation is 236220. The project magnitude is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. The Request for Proposal will be evaluated using Past Performance Trade Off evaluation procedures, resulting in the Best Value to the Government. Past performance is significantly more important than price. There are experience and qualification requirements for this project that will be outlined in the solicitation documents. The solicitation may be issued electronically on or about 28 August 2006 on the Federal Business Opportunities web page at http://www.fbo.gov, with a proposal receipt date on or about 18 September 2006. Paper copies will not be available. Once the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review this site frequently for any updates/amendments to any and all solicitation documents. The following viewers may be required to view the complete solicitation: Microsoft Word (.doc), Adobe Acrobat Reader (.pdf), WinZip (.zip or .exe), and AutoCAD. NOTE: All prospective contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) in order to be eligible for contract award. A Pre-proposal Conference/Site Visit is tentatively scheduled for 6 September 2006 at 9:00 am local time in the 355th Contracting office conference room.
