Description

The U.S Department of Homeland Security, National Acquisition Center, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) intends to negotiate a Sole Source, Firm-Fixed Price, Commercial type contract with East Coast Warehouse, in accordance with FAR Part 6.302. Multiple awards are not being sought. The following item to be procured is a 5,000 sqft., sheltered, lighted, direct drive through for a full size tractor trailer with doors at both ends, heated, with electrical service, completely fenced, providing a 24 hour access with a manned security gate 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, located within the geographic confines of the core port of Newark/Elizabeth for a storage area for Mobile Radiation Portal Monitor that provides easy access and close proximity to the port operations and close proximity to CBP Port offices for a one year lease-starting from September 30, 2006 through September 29, 2007. Responses received will be evaluated however; a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, the Government will proceed with the Sole Source contract.
