- Description
- Defense Supply Center Richmond will negotiate with responsible sources for the establishment of an Indefinite Quantity contract with a base period of one year and one, one year option for the supply of re-refined motor oils and the removal of used motor oils from US Military and Federal installations throughout the 48 contiguous states. This is known as the Closed Loop Re-refined Motor Oil program. Formal source selection procedures will be utilized in the selection of a successful offeror. The successful offeror must be able to provide re-refined motor oils under SAE J2362 (SAE 5W-30 and 10W-30) and J2363 (SAE 30 and 40 and 15W-40) specifications as well as MIL-PRF-2104 (SAE 10W, 30 and 40 and 15W-40). Also, Safety Kleen SAE 15W-40, CH-4. These oils must be provided in quart, box, gallon, 5 gallon can and drum quantities. This is a full and open requirement. For SAE specifications, the offeror must have the products offered qualified and listed on the applicable Qualified Products List (QPL) prior to contract award. Delivery is required in 10 days after receipt of order, FOB origin with destination inspection and acceptance. Numbered notes 9, 23 and 26 apply. The final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price, past performance and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation.
