- This solicitation is for the acquisition of part-numbered items for which Hydra-Electric Company, Inc. and at least one other small business manufacturer are approved sources of supply. All NSNs will be available on the DSCC website https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/. FSCs covered by this project are 1650 and 5930. All responsible sources may submit an offer/quote which shall be considered. Numbered notes 1 and 26 are applicable. The solicitation will be available in FedBizOpps on its issue date of: October 11, 2006. The Small Business size standard is 1000 employees. Specifications, plans or drawings are not available. The proposed procurement contains an option to extend the contract period one or more times at the discretion of the Government. The total duration (base plus option years) shall not exceed 5 years. This proposed procurement includes a family group of items with the Federal Supply Class 1650, 5930. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, past performance and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. Type of set-aside: 100% small business.
