- SUBJECT: NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE PROCUREMENT FOR requirement for 2 each 6-18 GHz Amplifiers and 2 each 2-6 GHz Amplifiers to Keragis Corporation, 12131 Community Road, Poway, CA 92064-8801; Specifications for all four amplifiers: Electrical: Saturated Power Out = 35 Watts Typ; Gain = 20dB Typ; In/Out VSWR 2:1; In/Out Impendance = 50 Ohm; DC Power + 28 VDC Mechanical: Dimensions w/o heat sink = 2?x 2? x 2.9? (Mtg. Base); Dimensions Power Supply = 10.28? x 6.75? x 5.9?; RF input/output Connector SMA Female; Grounding type Chassis; Environmental: Operating Temperature ?40 to +50 c; Operating Humidity 100% The amplifiers will each be supplied in a separate 19? rack mounted housing 8.75? high X 22? deep which includes power supply, cooling and controls; Keragis Corporation, 12131 Community Road, Poway, CA 92064-8801 is the only known source that can satisfy the requirements of the Government at this time. Please note that this is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all interested parties who believe they can meet the requirements are invited to submit in writing complete information describing their ability to provide the items listed above. Responses may be sent via e-mail to Leonard.Buckless@edwards.af.mil or mailed to AFFTC/PKDD, 5 South Wolfe Ave, Edwards AFB, CA 93524-1185, Attention: Leonard Buckless. Information received as a result of this notice will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Air Force not to open the requirement to open competition, based on response to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Air Force. If the office has not received any affirmative written responses by 12:00 pm PST 22August 06, a Sole Source purchase order will be pursued with Keragis Corporation, 12131 Community Road, Poway, CA 92064-8801.
