Description

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) intends to negotiate a sole source purchase order with Congressional Quarterly, Inc. 1255 22nd Street NW , Washington, DC 20037-1217 under the authority of 41 U.S.C. 253(c)(1) and FAR Part 6.302-1. The award will be issued subject to FAR Subpart 12, Commercial Item Acquisition Provisions. The NRC requires a subscription to Congressional Quarterly?s website CQ.com for the Office of Congressional Affairs. This information is required to keep the Commission fully and currently informed of all Congressional actions. The contract will consist of one (1) base year followed by four (4) one (1) year options. This notice of intent is neither a request for quotes nor a solicitation of offers, however all responsible sources may submit written capability statements which shall be considered by the agency. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. Interested sources must submit detailed technical capabilities and any other information that demonstrates their ability to meet the requirements above, no later than October 5, 2006. Telephonic responses and capability statements that do not provide sufficient information for evaluation by the NRC will not be considered.
