Description
This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.eps.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While is it understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopses and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Navy Sea Systems Command. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division intends to purchase the following low phase noise dual synthesized signal generator on a brand name or equal basis: Hittite HMC-T1000A, with option number 101A, 100 MHz reference, available from Hittite Microwave Corporation. The salient requirements include the following: Frequency Range: less than or equal to 10 MHz to 8 GHz. Frequency Resolution: less than or equal to .001 Hz. Absolute Single Sideband Phase Noise: less than or equal to negative 100 dBc at 100 Hz offset at 3 GHz, less than or equal to negative 102 dBc at 1 kHz offset at 3 GHz, less than or equal to negative 129 dBc at 10 kHz offset at 3 GHz. Switching Speed: less than or equal to 10 usec. Power Output Max: greater than or equal to 10 dBm. Spurious Outputs: less than 72 dBc. Operating and Service Manuals included. Must have two independently controllable RF outputs. Must provide 10 MHz Reference Signal Output. Must accept 10 MHz Reference Signal Input. Must provide independent control of each synthesizer over either RS-232 or parallel I/O control interfaces. Must provide dual trigger output signals for each synthesizer. Must mount in a standard 19 inch rack. Must run off standard 120 VAC 60 Hz outlet power. All offerors must demonstrate their ability to meet the salient requirements. Award is to be made under simplified acquisition procedures on an all or none basis. The closing date is 25 September 2006. Anticipated award date is 28 September 2006. Pricing should be FOB Destination to the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, 17320 Dahlgren Road, Dahlgren, VA 22448-5100. THE GOVERNMENT SHALL NOT ISSUE A WRITTEN REQUEST FOR QUOTATION AS ALL ITEMS ARE IDENTIFIED IN THIS COMMERCE BUSINESS DAILY (CBD) NOTICE. Applicable NAICS code is 334413.
