- This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.eps.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at https://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Naval Sea Systems Command. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) intends to procure on a sole-source basis from L-3 Communications Titan Corporation DBA Advanced Products & Design Division 3033 Science Park Road, San Diego, California 92121. The following items: 5 each NTDS 4001 Type E Cards part number 530-2005-007. L-3 Communications Titan Corporation DBA Advanced Products & Design Division is the Original Equipment Manufacture for the NTDS 4001 Type E Card and must be utilized to maintain current configurations. The North American industry Classification System code is 334418, 500 size standard. The order shall be a firm fixed prices purchase order under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). The delivery date shall be FOB destination on or before 30 September 2006 to Combat Direction System Activity, Dahlgren Division, Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dam Neck, 1922 Regulus Avenue, Virginia Beach, VA 23461-2097. This announcement constitutes the only request. The Synopsis number is N00178-06-Q-1303. All interested parties shall contact the contract specialist at (540) 653-7478 or dlgr_nswc_xds11@navy.mil and indicate their interest and capability to receive a list of equipment. This procurement is DO priority rated. Quote is due 26 September 2006 no later than 2:00 p.m. (local EST) to Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, 17320 Dahlgren Road, Building 183, Room 102, Dahlgren, VA 22448-5100. The anticipated award date is 27 September 2006. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, Dahlgren Laboratory Procurement Division has implemented Electronic Commerce (EC) in the acquisition arena; therefore, this synopsis/solicitation with any applicable amendments will be available on the World Wide Web at Http://www.nswc.navy.mil/wwwDL/XD/SUPPLY/. Vendors should regularly access the NSWCDD web site to ensure that they have downloaded all amendments. In order to be eligible for award, firms must be registered in the Central Contractor Registry (CCR). Quoters may obtain information on registration in the CCR by calling 1-888-227-2423, or via the Internet at http://www.ccr.gov. Please note that defense payment office may not make payment unless the contractor is established to receive electronic funds transfer (EFT). EFT payments are based on the contractor?s EFT information contained in the CCR database.
