- The services to be performed include management, administrative services, utilities system maintenance, building & structures maintenance, heating, ventilation & air conditioning, refrigeration & compressed air equipment maintenance, transportation services, pest control services, maintenance of family housing facilities, ground electronics maintenance & services, transient aircraft services, supply services, welfare & recreation maintenance services, swimming pool operation & maintenance, combined bachelor housing, grounds maintenance, minor construction, support equipment maintenance services. and environmental services. The contract performance period is anticipated to be ten years, including one base period of one year, four (4) twelve month options, and (5) twelve month award options commencing 1 October 2007 (two month phase-in period to commence 01 August 2007). A performance-base combination firm fixed price/indefinite quantity contract is anticipated. This estimated cost range is between 5 million and 10 million per year. The standard industrial classification (sic) code is 8744 and the North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) code is 561210. This solicitation is 100% set-aside for small business. The request for proposals (RFP) will be available on or about 30 October 2006.
