- Synopsis: Solicitation Number: W91YTZ-06-T-0199 Classification: 65 Medical Supplies NAICS 423450 This is a notice of the Governments intent to award a sole source firm fixed price contract to Synthes., the sole manufacturer and distributor of the Synthes Power Drive Set and accessories Part Number 105-957 to be used in operating room, Womack Army Med ical Center, Fort Bagg, North Carolina. The anticipated date of award is 25 September 2006. This acquisition will be accomplished using commercial item procedures in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation Part 12 and 6.302-1 for Other Than Full an d Open Competition. This notice is neither a request for a competitive proposal nor a solicitation for offers. A determination not to compete this proposed acquisition based on responses to the notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. I nformation received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future.
