Description
The U.S. Army TACOM- Picatinny Arsenal, NJ has a requirement for an Unmanned Aerial Vehicle that can be launched from a 120mm Mortar. The creation of the soar Block Diagram. Identify items that require further shock testing. These will include the following: Avionics/IMU, battery, motor controller, motor, servos, cameras, downlink transmitter. Design, build and test Breadboard to allow selected key subsystems to be easily plugged into it before and after shock testing. This Breadboard will allow communication, via RF Link, with the Ground Control Station. Engineering support will be provided for testing of the supplied electronic components during shock testing. Engineering support will also be provided for the fuze integration testing. An initial report will be sent by the contractor on the status of delivery and a final report at completion of delivery. Weekly/Monthly meetings to keep abreast of the current situation. Define how accomplishments are recorded. The competitive Request for Quote (RFQ) will be available electronically at the following Internet address: http://procnet.pica.army.mil on or about three (3) days from date of this announcement. SEE NUMBER NOTE 22. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within forty-five days (thirty days if award is issued under an existing basic ordering agreement) after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
