Description
This is a Sources Sought Synopsis there is no solicitation available at this time. Requests for a solicitation will receive no response. This Sources Sought Synopsis is published for market research purposes only to identify potential sources capable of providing Carimune. Carimune is a required brand name; generics are not acceptable. The responses to this synopsis will be used for a market survey analysis to determine what sources are available. The Government is interested in setting up a blanket purchase agreement (BPA) for Carimune. The Contractor would be required to provide price lists in accordance with FAR Part 13 and its supplements; an updated price list would be required each time price lists changed. A BPA with a GSA or VA Schedule holder would be subject to the price lists on the schedule. The Government would like to allow the hospital to place orders with payment made by Government Purchase Card on a monthly basis. This sources sought synopsis is not a request for proposals; it is a market research tool being utilized to determine the availability and adequacy of potential sources prior to issuing a Request for Proposal (RFP). Any information submitted by respondents to this synopsis is strictly voluntary. The Government will not pay for any information that is submitted by respondents to this sources sought request. Contractors who believe they possess the required expertise and experience shall provide their statement of capability, via email, to brandy.epperson@wpafb.af.mil. A current price list will be helpful. Do not provide information on other pharmaceuticals. Responses must be received not later than COB September 29, 2006. All documentation shall become the property of the Government. Firms responding must indicate the following information: Eligibility to the 8(a) program. Indicate the business size: small business or small disadvantaged business, veteran owned small business or HUBZone certified, and indicate the appropriate NAICS code. SCHEDULE HOLDERS: When responding, please indicate if your GSA or VA Schedule includes Carimune. If it does, please indicate your contract number. If your schedule does not include Carimune, but you are able to provide it, please feel free to respond. This synopsis neither constitutes a Request for Proposal nor does it restrict the Government to a particular acquisition approach. This synopsis should not be construed as commitment by the Government for any purpose other than market research.
