- The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office in Grand Prairie, Texas intends to make multiple awards for the provision of Comprehensive Medical Services for the Federal Correctional Complex located in Oakdale, Louisiana. Offerors are encouraged to submit comprehensive proposals providing all listed requirements. Offerors who propose less will be evaluated accordingly. Services to be provided shall include inpatient/outpatient facility services, inpatient/outpatient physician services, and outpatient institution services. The contract type is indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract with firm-fixed unit pricing. The contract shall consist of a Base Period and four 12-month Option Periods for renewal. The estimated quantities for the Base Period and all Option Periods are as follows: Inpatient Days - Guaranteed Minimum 75 days - Estimated Maximum 300 days; Outpatient Visits - Guaranteed Minimum 250 visits - Estimated Maximum 1,000 visits; Outpatient Institution Services /Cardiologist - Guaranteed Minimum 1 visit - Estimated Maximum 6 visits; Outpatient Institution Services / Infectious Disease - Guaranteed Minimum 1 visit - Estimated Maximum 6 visits; Outpatient Institution Services /Orthopedic Surgeon - Guaranteed Minimum 3 visits - Estimated Maximum 12 visits; Outpatient Institution Services / Psychiatrist - Guaranteed Minimum 6 visits - Estimated Maximum 24 visits. The solicitation will be made available on/or about October 23, 2006 and will be distributed solely through the General Administrations Federal Business Opportunities website at http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information regarding this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The anticipated date for receipt of proposals is on/or about December 20, 2006. Faith-Based and Community-Based Organizations can submit offers/bids/quotations equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considered.
