- The purpose of this amendment is to respond to the questions asked as follows: TV and Installation Procurement Solicitation # 640500000949RQ Questions from Offers and Responses from Government 9/19/06 Question I am getting pricing and need clarification on the following please: "Must provide wall mount swivel bracket" Doe this mean you need a quote for 95 x swivel wall mounts (entire assembly) or to you already have those and just need the adapter plate? Response Yes, this means the government needs all pieces for the contractor to complete the entire assembly. Please provide the entire assembly. Question We had a few questions as to how you wanted the system to be installed. Do you want it to be wall mounted are ceiling mounted. Response The units are to be mounted on the wall. Question The Toshiba 20HLV86 does not fit the specs. It does not have a 181 channel NTSC turner. It has a 125 channel tuner. Response The TV specifications are intended to be used as objective guidelines. Please select and offer products that best mirror the government specifications. Question As I mentioned on the telephone, on 20" LCD monitors the Aspect Ratio is 4:3, if you want 16:9 Aspect ratio you need to get 26" LCD monitors. Also, on the RFQ, you have Delivery/Installation. Are we installing the LCD monitors? Response a) See response to question #3 b) If the vendor is unable to locate a 20" LCD monitor within the market place with a 16:9 aspect, the 4:3 aspect ratio is acceptable. 9/15/2006 Question The only 20" LCD Television that we could find with you specifications was a Toshiba 20HLV86. Is this a approved equal if you could email me back to let me know that would be greatly appreciated. Response Yes. Question I have conducted an extensive search for a 20 inch LCD television fulfilling the requirements of this solicitation. So far, I have been unable to find a unit that fulfills all of the requirements. If the end user is aware of a brand and model that fulfills all of the specs, could that information be provided to us? Response Toshiba 20HLV86 come close. This is an approved equal. Note: Contractor must provide delivery, purchase of TV's/mounts and installation of TV's
