- NIH plans to issue a Request for Quote for the below services: The purpose of this requirement is for a contractor to provide general administrative support which includes but is not limited to typing correspondence, requesting missing or late material, obtaining supplies, duplicating or collating documents, filing, managing incoming and outgoing mail, answering phone calls and greeting visitors, and scheduling meetings for the National Institutes of Health (NIH) Training Center. This requirement relates to market research done under Sources Sought 263-2006-Q(GO)-0109. The anticipated performance period shall be for a basic period from the effective award date to November 30, 2007 with four (4) one year option periods. This procurement is a total 8(a) competitive set-aside. All interested 8(a) vendors under NAICS 561110 are encouraged to submit a quote. The anticipated release date of RFQ 263-2006-Q(GO)-0223 is on or about 09/26/06 with an anticipated quotation due date of on or about 10/26/06 at 11AM EST This solicitation will also include a prequote conference that will be held on or about October 5, 2006. The solicitation and any documents related to this procurement will be available over the Internet at the FedBizOpps website. These documents will reside on a World-Wide Web (WWW) server, which may be accessed using a WWW browser application. It is the quoters's responsibility to monitor the Internet site for the release of the solicitation and amendments (if any). Potential quoters will be responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation and amendments (if any). All contractual and technical questions must be submitted in writing (e-mail) to Zedekiah J. Worsham (worshamz@od.nih.gov) not later than 10/12/2006 at 2PM EST. Telephone questions will not be accepted.
