- Description
- The National Archives and Records Administration intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with GP Solutions for continuing maintenance and support services for the Ford Library SEEK PRESNET network. The network is currently running on a Compaq NT server. The maintenance and support shall include: SEEK (24 User) Annual Software Maintenance; Unidata (24 User RDBMS-AE, RBSrvr, 4 Wbshr, RBDev) Annual Standard Software Maintenance, SEEK PRESNET (up to 20 hours) support services. The Unidata Standard Maintenance agreement includes telephone consultation on Unidata software problems, Unidata software bug fixes, and new releases. Call support services during normal working hours (8:30A-5:00P ET). The Seek maintenance agreement includes telephone consultation on the use of SEEK, SEEK software bug fixes and new releases. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed requirement on a full and open competitive basis upon receipt of responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. No formal solicitation package is available. Any inquiries must include a full capability statement, and must be received not later than ten (10) days after publication of this synopsis. The Government will not be responsible for any costs in preparation of responses to this announcement. See FedBizOpps Note 22. The order shall be for one base year and four option years.
