- Description
- The Federal Law Enforcement Training Center, 9000 Commo Road, Cheltenham, Maryland 20623 has a requirement for Facilities Maintenance Support Services. The required services include: Hazardous Material Control and Management (HMCM); Warehouse Management; Mail/Messenger Pickup and Delivery Services; Grounds Maintenance; Facilities Maintenance; Driver Training Range Support; Firing Range Support, and Educational Aids Support. This solicitation is 100% restricted to 8(a) businesses that are currently registered with the Small Business Administration. The Contractor must provide all labor, equipment, tools, materials, management and supervision to meet the requirements. The Government anticipates a firm fixed price contract with a base period of two(2) months from 01 Aug 2006 through 30 Sep 2006, and four (4) one-year option periods from October 01, 2006 through September 30, 2010. Option periods may be exercised at the discretion of the Government. The solicitation is being uploaded to this website today, May 17, 2006, and should be available for downloading by May 18, 2006. Proposals are due on 16 June 2006. A Pre-Proposal/Site Visit is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. on May 24, 2006. Furhter information for the pre-proposal/site visit is available in the solicitation. All eligible firms may submit a proposal in writing which will be considered by the agency. The NAICS code is 561210 with a small business size standard of $30 million. Firms are encouraged to download the solicitation documents from FedBizOps at www.eps.gov. Hardcopies of the solicitation will not be issued. Fax, e-mail and/or phone proposals will not be accepted.
