- Description
- This is a notice of intent to issue a solicitation for the Defense Threat Reduction Agency’s (DTRA), Chemical and Biological (CB) Technologies Directorate forthcoming Agency Advisory and Assistance Services (A&AS) contract on or about April 26, 2006. When the solicitation is released it is anticipated that industry will have 30 days to respond. A draft solicitation for CB A&AS is posted at http://www.dtra.mil/business_opp/procurement/cbaandas. Please note this is only a working draft, and many elements of the solicitation are either not included or are incomplete. Therefore, the actual solicitation, when released, may differ significantly from this document. However, the release of a draft solicitation provides Industry an opportunity to comment on the Agency’s acquisition strategy before the formal request for proposal is released. While Industry may provide feedback on any part of the draft solicitation, the DTRA CB A&AS acquisition team asks that Industry specifically review and comment on the OCI requirement (in Sections H, L and M), and Sections L and M. Please send your comments to Debra Albrecht, DTRA Contract Specialist, at CB.AAS@dtra.mil no later than close of business on March 28, 2006. The acquisition team will review all Industry submissions and will post answers to any questions on the Agency’s CB A&AS web page at http://www.dtra.mil/business_opp/procurement/cbaandas. DTRA will host an Industry Day on the 5th of April 2006, to be held at Headquarters Defense Threat Reduction Agency, 8725 John J. Kingman Road, Fort Belvoir, VA 22060. Industry will need to RSVP for the Industry Day by April 3, 2006 to the CB A&AS e-mail address: CB.AAS@dtra.mil with company information and list of attendees. The Government may consider offering break-out sessions on Industry Day depending on Industry feedback. Please indicate with your RSVP if you are interested in a one-on-one break-out session and the topics you’d be interested in discussing. If break-out sessions are conducted you will be notified in advance of your scheduled session time. Issuance of this draft solicitation does not obligate the Government to a contract award. The Government is not liable for any costs incurred in responding to this draft solicitation. NOTE: THIS NOTICE MAY HAVE POSTED ON FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (21-MAR-2006).
