- Description
- This project consists of the reconstruction of the Three Forks Trailhead entrance road. Work will include construction staking; clearing and grubbing; excavation and embankment; design, furnish and installation of a new pre-cast concrete open bottom box culvert; furnishing, hauling and placing crushed aggregate base; and reconstruction of stream channel and adjacent floodplain. This project is located in Utah County approximately 17 miles east of Spanish Fork, UT. From Spanish Fork travel southeast approximately 9 miles along U.S. Highway 6 to Diamond Fork Road; proceed northeast 8 miles to Three Forks Trailhead Road. The project starts at the intersection of Diamond Fork and Three Forks Trailhead Road. This is in the N ½ of the NW ¼ of Section 34, T.8S., R.5E., Salt Lake Meridian. There will be a Site Visit August 10, 2006 at 10:30 a.m. meet at Red Ledges picnic site which is approximately 2 ½ miles before the Diamond Fork and Three Fork intersection.
