- Description
- The Government intends procure a firm fixed price purchase order on an unrestricted basis for installation of fiber optic cabling as required by the Navy Information Operations Command, Norfolk, VA. The Performance Period for the resulting Purchase Order will be from 29 September 2006 through 60 days. The NAICS is 517510. The Request For Quote (RF) and any subsequent amendments will only be available by downloading the documents at http://www.fbo.gov. This office will no longer issue hard-copy RFQs. By submitting a quote, the contractor will be self-certifying that neither the requestor nor the principal corporate officials and owners are currently suspended, debarred, or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any Federal Agency. Failure to so represent may be grounds for refusing to accept the quote. By submission of a quote, the offeror acknowledges that a prospective awardee must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database prior to award, during performance of the order and through final payment of the purchase order. Failure to register in the CCR may make an offeror ineligible for award. The RFQ will be posted on or about 20 September 2006 and close on or about 22 September 2006.
