- The U. S. Department of the Interior, National Business Center/GovWorks, intends to make a firm-fixed price, sole source award to SAS Institute Inc. GovWorks/DOI intends to issue a Contract in accordance with FAR Part 13.5, Test Program for Certain Commercial Items and 6.302-1 only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This non-competitive action is being issued by GovWorks under the authority of the U. S. Department of Interior Franchise Fund on behalf of the Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA). The DCAA has a requirement for the acquisition of renewal of SAS software licenses in support of professional development of auditors within DCAA. SAS Institute has developed customized audit training software programs for DCAA's management information systems and the software programs are proprietary to the Agency. The period of performance is one base year and four (4) option years. This is NOT a request for competitive quotes. The intent of this Special Notice is for informational purposes only. However, all information received by 2:00 p.m. EST September 28, 2006, will be considered by the Government.
