- DESC: NSN: 5995-01-192-1718, Part Number: 12337827, the item to procure is a Wiring Harness, Branched, consisting of Bracket P/N: 9338425, Bracket P/N: 9338426; (2) Jackscrew Assembly P/N: 12310921; (2) Jackscrew Assembly P/N: 12273461; Body Flex Wir ing subassembly 12337825. Electrical requirements: Circuit continuity-the resistance of continuity circuits as defined by drawing 12337828 shall not exceed 1.0 OHM; Circuit Isolation- the resistance between any isolated circuits as defined by drawing 12337 828 shall be 10 MEOHMS min. at 100 VDC max. Requirements are 80 each, Wiring Harness, Branched. FOB is Destination. To be used on the Abrams Tank. Estimated issue date is 04 Oct 2006. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502 and 5.102, therefore, hardcopies will not be provided. Vendors wishing an electronic copy may download it on or after the issue date by acce ssing the following address via the internet: https://aais.ria.army.mil/aais/SOLINFO/index.htm. CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain a bidders mailing list. It is therefore incumbent upon any interested parties to periodically access the above internet address in order to obtain any amendments which may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respo nd to them prior to the date and time set for bid opening/receipt of proposals may render your bid or proposal non-responsive and result in the rejection of same. The proposed contract will be 100 percent Small Business Set-Aside. The proposed contract will be a four year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ). MIL-I-45208 and MIL-Q-9858 have been canceled and are no longer applicable to DOD acquisitions of this part. Offerors are not required to be ISO registered, however the offeror should be in compliance to the ISO standards of the solicitation. Any proposal from an offeror that is not ISO compliant may not be considered. In accordance with FAR 8.602 and DFARS 208.602, the supplies covered, by this solicitation are determined to be products furnished by Federal Prison Industries (FPI). A determination has been made to seek proposals from the private sector. However, this do es not preclude the participation of FPI in the competition. Notwithstanding the inclusion of any set-aside provision or clause in the solicitation, award may be made to FPI, even if this solicitation is subject to a set-aside provision.
