- Description
- NRCC General Support Division intends to award, on a sole source basis, a firm fixed price contract for services necessary to refurbish and repair two OH-5 helicopters for the US Army Aviation Museum, Fort Rucker, AL. NRCC GSD intends to procure the services on a noncompetitive basis from the manufacturer, FH1100 Manufacturing Corporation, in accordance with 10 U.S.C 2304(c)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, only one or a limited number of responsible sources and no ot her types of supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. NAICS: 336411. The Government intends to acquire a commercial service using FAR Part 12. Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort in writing to the identified point of contact not later than 1:30 p.m. EDT on Septembe r 22, 2006. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government.
