Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared IAW the format in FAR subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotes are being requested, and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT RESULT IN AN ORDER AGAINST A FEDERAL SUPPLY SCHEDULE. ANY OFFER WHICH IS PREDICATED UPON THE AWARD BEING PLACED AGAINST AN FSS WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED. INCLUDE THIS STATEMENT IF APPLICABLE: This requirement is set-aside 100% for small business. NAICS: 238290 SMALL BUSINESS SIZE STANDARD: $13.0M Payment Terms: NET 30 The purchase and installation of 1 Each Horton Automatics Security Revolving Automatic Door. See attached Statement of Work for more specifications. A site visit will be held on 22 September 2006 at 9:30 am at the site. Please call at least one day prior to the site visit to confirm your attendance. It is highly encouraged that you view the site prior to submitting a quote. Prices should be FOB Destination (Robins AFB GA 31098). Request delivery date is TBD. IAW FAR 52.212-3, Reps/Certs should be completed on-line at www.bpn.gov. Oral procedures will be used for this solicitation. STATEMENT OF WORK FOR SECURITY REVOLVING AUTOMATIC DOOR 1.0 INSTALLATION Contractor will provide and install one security revolving automatic door with dark bronze anodized finish and ?? laminated clear glass (glass thickness of the door is critical) and one manual door to include one 4400 series door closer, one heavy duty electric strike, one Von Duprin panic device, and one Locknetics power supply. The revolving door must have a fire alarm egress capabilities that allow for quick opening. The door access features allow for only one person entry and exit for the strictest security capability. 2.0 MATERIALS FURNISHED 2.1 Security Revolving Automatic Door (Clear Anodized Finish) 2.2 Manual Door Medium Size 2?x 6? Jamb Tubes ?? Glass Prep for Door Panel Dark Bronze Anodized Finish 2.3 4400 Series Door 2.4 Heavy Duty Electric Strike 2.5 Von Durpin Panic Device 2.6 505 Locknetics Power Supply 2.7 Dark Bronze Anodized Finish for the Security Revolver 2.8 Magnetic Breakaway Functions, Dark Bronze Break-metal, Demo of the Existing Wall, ?? Glass Prep for the Door Panels and Drum, ?? Laminated Clear Glass 2.9 Contractor shall coordinate the installation dates with the 560 ACSG Security Manager, Glenn Tolbert. 2.10 Contractor shall meet with necessary user and applicable facility, electrical, telephone, and computer personnel to ensure minimum disruption of normal operations during installation. He/she shall have examined the installation site to determine the conditions under which the work is to be performed. 2.11 Contractor shall provide all equipment and manpower required for complete delivery of all items to the site of installation. 2.12 The materials specified shall be installed in Building 350, main entrance, Robins Air Force Base, GA. Exact locations shall be provided to the contractor prior to installation. Contractor shall be responsible for providing all necessary items required except utilities for the initial operation and demonstration of the entire system. 3.0 Utilities 3.1 The government shall provide all necessary utilities. 4.0 Controlled Area Requirements 4.1 All contractors shall obtain proper contractor?s badge from Robins Air Force Base Pass and ID unit and shall present a picture ID to Visitor Control Center personnel prior to each entry. 4.2 This project involves work in a controlled area, and contractors must coordinate entrance with the security manager in Bld 350. 5.0 Warranty 5.1 Warranty one-year parts and labor.
