- The VA Gulf Coast Veterans Health Care System, Biloxi, MS intends to negotiate with JedMed, St. Louis, MO, for the purchase of a StroboCAM II DiVAS - Digital Video Archive System. This procurement is being conducted in accordance with FAR 6032-1, only one responsible source that can satisfy the agency requirements. Specific requirements: This system has the capability for Sensory Swallowing Testing and has a nasal endoscopy included. This notice is not a request for competitive quotes(no solicitation document is available) but responses received on or before September 22 will be evaluated. To the best of our knowledge, Jedmed is the only source that can provide the equipment that will meet our needs. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Contracting Officer. If no responses are recieved, the VAGCVHCS will proceed with the sole source negotiation with JedMed.
