- FISC-San Diego, Regional Contracting Department is announcing intention to issue a RFQ to be issued under FAR 12 Acquisition of Commercial Items. The following commercial services are required: On-site rental, exchange, re-generation and preventive maintenance of De-ionized water systems and ancillary equipment: 1.6 cubic foot, 10? x 40? DI mix bed fiberglass tanks and 3.6 cubic foot, DI mix bed tanks. Sanitization, bacterial laboratory testing and membrane cleaning, membrane replacement services may be required to maintain the overall systems. Contractors responding to the RFQ will be required to provide a technical proposal describing in sufficient detail on how they intend to perform the required services and also a listing of equipment to be offered. The anticipated period of performance is for a one year base period and three one year option periods. Naics: 325998, business size 500 employees is applicable. All services/material will be inspected and accepted at destination. Performance/Delivery location: Naval Aviation Depot, San Diego, CA 92135. This procurement is issued as restricted. The RFQ will be available for review and downloading at the following websites: www.neco.navy.mil and www.fedbizopps.gov on or about September 19, 2006. The solicitation period will close on 1600 PM, PST, September 29, 2006. Responses to the RFQ are preferred to be submitted electronically via email (provided all information is contained) and or fax.
