- This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the information in FAR Subpart 12.6, using simplified acquisition procedures under the test program for commercial items found at FAR 13.5, as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a written solicitation will not be issued. PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE. This combined synopsis/solicitation shall be posted on both FEDBIZOPPS and NECO (http://www.neco.navy.mil/). The RFQ number is N00244-06-T-1098. This solicitation documents and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through FAC 2005-12 and DFARS Change Notice 20060908. It is the contractor?s responsibility to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. The NAICS Code is 332439 and the Small Business Standard is 500 employees. The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center, San Diego, Detachment Seal Beach requests responses from qualified sources capable of providing: 6 EA- 20 CU YD Open Top Tub Style Drop Box Length 16' X Wall Height 5'5", Wall Material: 12 GA., Floor Material: 10 GA, Doors: Std double, Lift System: Endless chain roll-off & Stellar Combo; Combo Color: Painted IP39 Forest Green (Industrial Enamel) includes 16" Reversible, Crank up solid lid or Equivalent. Oral RFQ via Simplified Acquisition Procedures will be utilized Anticipated award date on or before 22 Sep 2006. Delivery is 30 Days ARO. FOB Destination. Place of delivery is Naval Facilities Engineering Center, Port Hueneme, CA, 93043. The following FAR provisions and clauses are applicable to this procurement: 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors - Commercial Items; 52.212-3 ALT I, Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items; 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions - Commercial Items; 52.247-34, F.O.B. The proposed contract action is for commercial supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.501(a)(1)(ii). Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all proposals received within five days after date of publication of this synopsis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. All responsible sources may submit a quote, which shall be considered by the agency.
