Each table is designed to withstand a total abused load of 150 lbs with safety pin lock positions in both folded and unfolded positions; 2. The folding tables consist of Doublers, Table Tops, Support Brackets, Safety Brackets, and Hinge Table Support Mount, as described in the following: Two doublers, one each for the left and right folding tables, shall be mounted on the curbside of the TERPES shelter to provide secure anchoring to mount the folding tables to the shelter wall. Each double shall be 0.09" think aluminum alloy sheet, 6061-T4 per QQ-A-250/11 and AMS4026, and finished with a chemical conversion coating, primer, and polyurethane topcoat. Each is 22.00" tall x 43.88" wide and riveted to the shelter wall, where the top and bottom edges of the doublers are 30" and 8" off the shelter floor respectively, with a gap space of 0.06" between the doublers. The table top shall be made of plywood 0.75" thi ck, 20.00" wide, and 41.87" long with re-enforcement on all edges to the sum total thickness of 1.50". Top surface and edges of the table tops shall be laminated with Formica Color No. 37886 IAW Fed-Std-595. Each table top is mounted to a doubler riveted to the shelter wall by a hinge support mount. When unfolded, it has additional support by two support brackets under the table. Two support brackets, one on each end of a table top shall provide added support when the table is unfolded. The brackets shall be 0.09" think aluminum alloy sheet, 6061-T4 per QQ-A-250/11 and heat treated to 6061-T6 after forming. It is finished with a chemical conversion coating, primer, and polyurethane topcoat. Bend and holes are added to the hinge as shown in the drawing 97012A1044.
