Description

The U.S. Geological Survey intends to award a sole source non-competitive procurement to Newton Seating Company, Inc. for custom laboratory casework. These items will be integrated into a larger suite of similar laboratory fixtures. Additionally, the noncompetitive acquisition ensures compatibility with existing hardware and enables the USGS to make full use of a large inventory of spare parts. Newton Seating is the only Florida distributor of Fisher-Hamilton laboratory casework and accessories. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT IS FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. NO FORMAL RFQ WILL BE AVAILABLE. The anticipated award date is 06/10/2005, under the Simplified Acquisition Threshold of $100,000.00. The NAICS code is 423490. A determination not to continue with this acquisition based upon response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive acquisition.
