Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement c onstitutes the only solicitation. Quotes are being solicited and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number W912L7-06-T-0033 is hereby issued as a Request for Quote. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-02. The Tennessee Army National Guard has the following requirements. This requirement is being advertised as a small business set-aside; the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) C ode is 332439 with a Small Business Size Standard of five hundred (500) employees. All responsible sources determined to be a small business by the Small Business Administration may submit an offer, which shall be considered by this Agency. Quotes are due in this office no later than Friday, September 22, 2006, close of business four thirty (4:30) p.m. local central daylight time. They can be emailed to Randal.Halbrooks@tn.ngb.army.mil or facsimile to 615-313-2659. Offers will be evaluated using the evaluation criteria outlined in FAR 13. The award will be made to the vendor whose proposal is most advantageous to the Government. The evaluated non-cost factors for this acquisition shall be sufficiency, and availability. Past Performance will not be an evaluation factor in this acquisiti on. Point of Contact referencing this solicitation is Randal Halbrooks at 615-313-0781. The following Contract Line Item Numbers (CLINs) are to provide standard forty foot (40) ISO shipping containers. To be considered as sufficient for this requirement, vendor shall agree to and provide the following. Containers shall be in a like new condition with no obvious damage painted a desert tan color. Vendor shall also provide all material handling equipment necessary to unload the shipping containers at the des ignated locations, i.e. roll-back trailer or crane. Vendor shall contact MSG Donna Snead at 615-355-3766 to ensure the site is prepared to receive the items prior to shipment. 0001 forty foot (40) ISO shipping containers, quantity twenty (20), delivered to the Tullahoma training site, 400 Industrial Blvd, Tullahoma, TN 37388. 0002 forty foot (40) ISO shipping containers, quantity fifteen (15), delivered to the Milan Training Site, 325 Arsenal Lane, Lavinia, TN 38348. Vendors who respond to this solicitat ion should provide a price per container and a total price for all containers. Please provide Dun and Bradstreet number, tax identification number, CAGE code and a copy of your Offeror Representations and Certifications with quote. Be sure to complete sect ion (f), the Buy American Act Certificate when you submit your Offeror Representations and Certifications for this solicitation.
