- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The North American Industrial Classification System Code (NAICS) is 326299, and the size standard is 500 employees. This unr estricted, all qulified interested parties may submit an offer. Any brand names or trade names used in the RFQ specifications are for the purpose of describing and establishing standards of quality and performance and characteristics desired. Such brand names or trade names are not intended to limit or restrict competition. The proposed contract action is for supplies for which the Government does not have specifications and drawings, also due to the complexity and criticality of this part, only manufact urers that have successfully completed all testing required by the original company responsible for the design, or manufacturers that have successfully completed all testing on items determined by the Government to be similar in complexity and criticality, will be considered approved sources for this item.
