- This synopsis is prepared in accordance with FAR part 36. MacDill AFB, FL has a requirement for generator safety stands. This works includes complete design and construction of two elevated metal work platforms intended to provide maintenance access to two existing generators. Contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, and materials required to complete the work as indicated in the scope of work, which will be including in the forthcoming soliciation. The expected period of performance for this project is 42 days or less. NAICS Code 236220, Size Standard $31.0 Million. The solicitation will be a design/build project with a best value selection process. All solicitation documents will be available through this website. All work under any award based on this synopsis and following solicitation must pay the minimum wage rates of the Secretary of Labor General Decision Number: FL030002 03/04/2005 FL2, a copy of which can be found at http://www.wdol.gov/dba.aspx. The work site is located on MacDill AFB, in Hillsborough county Florida. The magnitude of this requirement in terms of physical characteristics and estimated price range is between $25,000 and $100,000.
