Item 0001 NSN: 3110-00-864-9276RV, P/N: 389821. Item Description: THE BEARING IS A STEEL CYLINDRICAL ROLLER TYPE BEARIANG CONSISTING OF AN OUTER RACE, INNER RACE, CAGE AND ROLLERS. THERE ARE A TOTAL OF SIXTEEN ROLLERS RETAINED WITHIN THE BEARING CAGE. CAGE AND ROLLERS ARE NONSEPERABLE. BEARING OUTER RACE INNER RACE CAGE AND ROLLER WHEN ASSEMBLED CONSTITUTE MAKEK UP OF THE ENTIRE BEARING ASSY. THE FUNCTION OF THE BEARAING IS TO ABSORB HIGH SPEED RADIAL LOADS CREATED BY THE GENERATOR DRIVE SPSUR GEAR SHAFT LOCATED WITHIN THE MAIN ENGINE GEARBOX. THIS BEARING ALSO PROVIDES SUPPORT FOR THE FORWARD END OF THE GENERATOR DRIVE SPUR GEARSHAFT. THE DIMENSIONS ARE: WIDTH .7874" X BORE DIAM. 1.9683/1.9685" X OUTSIDE DIA. 3.5433". STANDARD TOL. IS RBEC #5. INTERNAL CLEARANCE 0.0012 MIN/.0022 INCHES MAX RADIAL. MATERIAL CONSIST OUTER RACE-PWA 723 STEEL/INNER RACE AND ROLLER IS ALSO PWA 723 STEEL CAGE IS MADE OF AMS 4616 FORGED. Applicable to: TF33 Engine Delivery: 31 March 2008 Quantity: Min 20, Max 50 New Material Solicited. New and Unused Surplus and Used/Overhauled Surplus will also be solicited. The approximate issue date of the solicitation will be 2 October 2006. The approximate response date of the solicitation will be 2 November 2006. The anticipated award date will be 31 December 2006. Note: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential Offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel.
