- Description: The Department of Veterans Affairs, National Cemetery Administration, is seeking a contractor to furnish all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, administration and design-build services necessary for design and construction of Design-Build Burial Development and Cemetery Improvements, Project No. 828CM2028 at the Barrancas National Cemetery, Pensacola, Florida in accordance with the solicitation and permit requirements. The Government contemplates award of a firm fixed-price construction contract. Early Turnover Area work to be completed within 180 calendar days after Notice to Proceed and overall work to be completed within 730 calendar days. NAICS Code 237990/size standard: $31.0 million. The anticipated cost range is $10,000,000 to $20,000,000. THIS SOLICITATION IS UNRESTRICTED FULL AND OPEN COMPETITION. Solicitation will be made available after October 2, 2006. Electronic solicitations are not available. Requests for hard copy drawings and specifications shall be obtained by contacting Lewis Scully Gionet, Attn: Dave Norden, 1919 Gallows Road, Suite 110, Vienna, VA 22182, phone 703-821-2045 x 116 or fax 703-448-0597. Offerors will be charged $150.00 non-refundable deposit for each set of drawings and specs up to two and $250.00 non-refundable deposit for each one thereafter. Deposit must be in the form of a certified check, cashier's check, or money order, made payable to "Lewis Scully Gionet". All requests shall be on company letterhead to include point of contact, physical mailing address, phone number, fax number, e-mail address. SOLICITATION AMENDMENTS. Amendments to the solicitation will be posted at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. Paper copies of the amendments will NOT be individually mailed. By registering for the Register to Receive Notification list at http://www.fedbizopps.gov, you will be notified by e-mail of any new amendments that have been issued and posted. No other notification of amendments will be provided. Potential offerors are advised that they are responsible for obtaining and acknowledging any amendments to the solicitation. A Pre-Proposal Conference and Site Visit is proposed for October 25, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. local time at the Administration Building, Barrancas National Cemetery, Naval Air Station, 80 Hovey Road, Pensacola, FL 32508, 850 453-4108 (May be subject to change).
