- Description
- The project consists of road decommissioning by recontouring on the Red River Ranger District. Work includes drainage improvements, road obliteration, culvert removal, seeding and hand straw mulching and miscellaneous related work. From Grangeville, Idaho follow County Road #17, Mount Idaho Grade 10 miles to the junction with State Highway 14. Follow Highway 14 for approximately 45 miles to the junction with Road #222 (Dixie Road). Follow Road #222 approximately 9 miles to the old Red River Ranger Station and the junction with Road #234. Follow Road #2234 for approximately 8 miles to the junctions of Road #1166 and #1170. The roads to be decommissioned can be found at various mile posts along road #1166, #1170 and its spur roads.
