Description
THE PURPOSE OF THIS AMENDMENT IS TO UPDATE THE DEPARTMENT OF LABOR (D0L) WAGE DETERMINATION TO 2005-2047, REV 1, DATED 09/01/2006. ALL OTHER TERMS AND CONDITIONS REMAIN THE SAME. RESPONSE DATE REMAINS THE SAME. The USDA, Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS), Plant Protection and Quarantine (PPQ), Hawthorne, CA, intends to procure security guard services for the period beginning October 1, 2006 through September 30, 2007. A firm fixed price purchase order will be awarded. Small business set aside under NAICS Code 56162; annual revenue $17 million. Submit faxed quotations to the Purchasing Section at (6122) 370-2136, Attention Joanne Mann. QUOTATIONS ARE DUE SEPTEMBER 21, 2006, BY 10:00 A.M. Central Time. Simplified procurement procedures will be used as well as commercial item acquisition regulations per FAR 12. THIS IS A COMBINED SYNOPISIS/SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. This solicitation document incorporates provisions and clauses which are in effect through the current Federal Acquisition Circular. Quotes shall be submitted based on cost per month $ _____________ x 12 = Total: $__________ SPECIFICATIONS: One (1) armed uniformed guard (guard II), weapons certified, licensed and bonded, to patrol the USDA work site at 11840 South LaCienega Boulevard, Hawthorne, California, from 6:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding Federal Holidays, for the period beginning October 1, 2006 through September 30, 2007. Over time is NOT authorized. DUTIES: Rove the perimeter of the building from 6:30 a.m. to 8:00 a.m.; from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. the guard shall be posted inside the main entrance and check visitors for identification, and check employees for government identification; rove the exterior of the building at irregular times during the day; between 4:00 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. the guard shall rove the perimeter of the building while employees exit the building.
