Description
THIS PROCUREMENT REQUEST HAS BEEN CANCELLED BY THE CUSTOMER. WILL RESUBMIT IN FY07. Part A: Relocation of Existing Conference Equipment from B33 to M32 Bldg. 1) Equipment to be relocated: Projector, Cabling, Manual pull down Screen, SmartBoard, Ceiling Mounted Speakers, Amplifier, DVD, VHS, and Podium. Remove all equipment except for NNSY desktop computer located in room. 2) Equipment and Cabling to be removed from B33 Conference Room, however, leave surface ducting. Interface plate also needs to be removed. 3) Electrical outlet in the M32 Conference room will be installed by Government. Part B: Installation of new Audio-Visual System 1) M32 Training Room: i) Equipment to be installed: (a) 4 Smart Boards (b) 4 Manual Screens (c) 4 Projectors (d) Podium (e) Data Rack (f) SmartBoard synchronization (g) DVD (h) VHS (i) Doc Camera Drawer/Doc Camera (j) Wiring and cable to support system ii) SMARTBOARDS: (1) Minimum standard 77? SmartBoard. ? Total 4 of required. (2) Smart Boards located on right and left wall and 2 boards on largest wall. Fourth wall has windows and accordingly will have no SmartBoards. Each Smart Board should be able to do the following: (a) Project same image on all four screen (b) Project 2 images on 2 of the four screens (c) Project 4 different images on each screen (3) SmartBoard synchronization to allow instructor to view each students location (25 possible locations) or be able to display student?s information on the SmartBoard screen. (4) Instructor will be able to write on SmartBoard or from computer screen to project on Smartboard. iii) PROJECTOR: (1) Need electrical zoom focus. (2) Optional power lense shift. (3) 1024X768(XGA) ? minimum standard requirement. Total of 4 needed. (4) 2500 ANSI Lumens ? minimum standard requirement. (5) RS232 Controllable ? standard requirement (6) Will be ceiling mounted in four locations within the room. They will face same direction as SmartBoards. (7) Power to serve the overhead projectors is being provided under the construction contract. iv) PODIUM: (1) Podium to be located on left side room when facing windows. (2) Podium is to be capable of being relocated to two separate locations within the room. (3) Podium will need to be provided with audiovisual to accommodate the equipment specs correctly. (4) Doc Camera drawer is to be mounted on podium. Minimum standard requirement XGA. (5) Shipyard will provide Mini-tower to integrate system. v) DATA RACK: (1) Data Rack to be located on right side of room by windows. (2) Wall should have space to run cabling behind the walls. It is o.k. to expose cabling if pipes can?t hold cabling. This is last resort. (3) DVD, VHS equip can be mounted on rack as long as instructor can control from across the room. Separate units (VHS & DVD) are required. (4) The size of the rack will be determined based on the amount of equipment supported. vi) MANUAL PULL DOWN SCREENS (1) Manual pull down screen is located above each SmartBoard. Total of 4 needed. (2) Need to be ceiling mountable. vii) STUB OUTS/WIRING (1) Insert plate is A/V responsibility. (2) Cover plates is A/V responsibility. Power to the stub outs will be gov?t responsibility. (3) It will be the responsibility of the A/V vendor and electrical to coordinate which portion of the floor box will be dedicated for electrical and which portion will be dedicated for A/V. (4) A/V will be required to set and test ea laptop station to project to SmartBoard screen. Laptop connection will be located on modular training table with data port/electrical connection. (5) A/V will be required to set and test Podium in two separate locations. (6) A/V will be required to set and test SmartBoards to work separately or in unison. (7) 6 switches are to be located in each stub out. There are 8 total stub outs in the room. (8) Empty conduits and wall/floor boxes are being provided under the construction contract to serve the pre-wired tables in the classrooms and in the conference room. Empty conduits and junction boxes are also being provided under the construction contract to serve the podium areas in the classrooms and in the conference room. (9) All training and conference room tables will be pre-wired for data and electricity. Power in ea room will be on the same phase. viii) MICROPHONE (1) None needed. ix) AUDIO (1) Ceiling mounted speakers are required. (2) Audio to be controlled by instructor at Podium. Remote control is required. 2) MOVE IN DATE: a) Move in date for C100PI is currently set for mid-November. However a funding issue recently came up concerning a modification to the sprinkler system design. This issue may cause the move in date slide to Dec. 1 but be advised that this delay has not yet been confirmed. Bringing permanent power to the 3rd floor was accomplished during an outage that took place this past weekend. 3rd floor HVAC systems are in the process of being tested and brought on line this week 3) SITE SURVEY: Schedule additional site survey 12 Sept 2006 to walk layout of room. Vendor must provide in writing a signed letter from management on Company letterhead requesting access to NNSY for the purposes of a site survey. All letters must be received no later than 8 Sept 2006, 12 noon. They can be faxed to 757.396.0527, Attn: Cynthia Duncan or can be emailed to Cynthia.Duncan.ctr@navy.mil. Vendors will meet at NNSY Pass and ID office 8am, Tuesday, 12 Sept 2006 for survey.
