- SYNOPSIS: Any questions regarding this solicitation should be addressed to: paul.r.daneker@.nws.usace.army.mil. The Army Corps of Engineers, Seattle District, has a requirement for construction of a Replacement Groundwater Treatment Plant, Wyckoff/ Eagle Harbor Superfund Site, Bainbridge Island, WA. The Wyckoff Replacement Groundwater Treatment Plant (RGWTP) is designed to remove free oil/product, polynuclear aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs), and pentachlorophenol (PCP) from groundwater pumped to the tr eatment plant from existing groundwater extraction wells. In addition to extracted groundwater, the RGWTP will also treat stormwater that falls on decontamination and containment pads associated with the existing and new treatment plants. Work under this contract includes building modifications, flow equalization, dissolved air flotation, media filtration, activated carbon adsorption, solid digestion, solids filter press dewatering and process support systems. Also included is procurement and installatio n of related equipment, disassembly, relocation, and reassembly of salvaged products, piping, fabricated metalwork, painting, electrical, heating and ventilation, plumbing, instrumentation and control, sitework, and other appurtenances necessary to constru ct the RGWTP. Demolition activities include building slab removal and modifications to architectural features. Finally, work also includes performing programming of applications software for certain portions of the Process Instrumentation and Control Sys tem. This procurement is a unrestricted. The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) is 236210 and the small business size standard is $31.0-million. Estimated cost is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000. A Request for Proposal (RFP) solicitation package, including the plans and specifications will be available on or about 15 February, 2006, for downloading at fedteds.gov a link will be posted at http://www.fbo.gov/.
