- This Presolicitation is the amendment to Combined Synopsis/Solicitation # W440693Y; posted on 20 July 2006, for Hewlett Packard Computers, Monitors and Laptops; and amended 21 of July 2006 due to the list of requirements being omitted. The purpose of this Presolicitation (#W440693Y0) is to Request for a Quote (RFQ) for Hewlett Packard Computers, Monitors, Laptops. THIS PRESOLICITATION (W440693Y0) IS A COMBINED SOLICITATION/SYNOPSIS POSTED UNDER A PRESOLICITATION IN ORDER TO UPLOAD THE REQUIREMENTS. Simplified procedures as described in FAR 13.5 will be utilized for acquisition of the required items. The North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) code for this requirement is 423430 with a size standard of 100 employees. The Government intends to award a Firm-Fixed Price Purchase Order for this Brand Name requirement to a Small Business under the authority of FAR 6.203. THIS REQUEST IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES FOR ITEMS OTHER THAN THE BRAND NAME OF HEWLETT PACKARD. The Government will accept quotes from all responsible sources with the capability to provide the brand name product cited above and will award a Purchase Order resulting from this RFQ to the responsible vendor whose offer conforms to the solicitation and is considered to be most advantageous to the Government. Quote is due to Angela G. Meeks, Contract Specialist, Department of Homeland Security, Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), 500 C Street SW Room 350, Washington, DC, 20472, by 3:30 P.M. Eastern Standard Time, 28th of July 2006. The Government reserves the right to process the procurement on a Brand Name Mandatory basis based upon the responses received.
