- This notice is in response to questions that came about from the previous synopsis, which appeared in the August 29, 2006 edition of the FedBizOpps. The following are the stated questions with the answer to each question: Question 1: On items 0001AA thru 0001AK ? a case is required. Is there a specific CLIN? Answer to Question 1: No Question 2: Are items 0001AA thru 0001AK to include all powers, base curves and prism? Answer to Question 2: Yes Question 3: For items 0001AG thru 0001AJ what does Glass/Photochromic refer to? Answer to Question 3: Photo Gray Extra. Question 4: For items 0001AG thru 0001AJ ? is chemical treatment acceptable and should it be included in the price? Answer to Question 4: Should be included in price. Question 5: For item 0001AK ? Progressive ? is this lab choice? Or is there a specific brand required? Answer to Question 5: Labs choice. Question 6: For Item 0001AM ? Anti-reflective Coat ? Is this lab choice? Or is there a specific brand required? Answer to Question 6: Labs choice. Question 7: For item 0001AP ? Clip on sunglasses, currently Sunclips are only available for models TR306S & TR301S ? is this acceptable Answer to Question 7: Yes. Question 8: Is postage/shipping to be included in the proposal or will it be added as a separate line item Answer to Question 8: Yes, postage/shipping to be included in the proposal. Question 9: Attachment one of solicitation ? Technical ? states Titmis ? should it be changed to Titmus. Answer to Question 9: Yes. Question 10: Attachment one - Warranties ? Contractor must provide a standard commercial warranty as provided to the public ? should a copy of our warranty that is listed in our price list be included with the bid? Answer to Question 10: Yes. Question 11: On items 0001AB & 0001AE & 0001AH - What type of Bifocals will be provided D28, D35, EXEC, ect - if a combination is to be provided what would be the percentage of each? Answer to Question 11: D28, D35. Question 12: This also applies to Trifocals - Items # 0001AC & 0001AF & 0001AJ - same question. Answer to Question 12: D28, D35. Question 13: Item No. 001AL Tints?Is that on Plastic or Poly only? Answer to Question 13: Plastics are used for sun tints only. Question 14: Item No.001AN Ultraviolet coating---Already on all Poly, cannot add to glass. Answer to Question 14: This is correct - Item No. 001AN Reserved.
