Description
The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Panama City, FL (NSWC PC) intends to award a sole source firm fixed price purchase order using simplified acquisition procedures to Complete Parachute Solutions Inc., 1320 East International Speedway Blvd, Deland, Fl 32724, for the following items: Four (4) each CPS-V3-M series parachute system consisting of: Variable Geometry Harness (Hip Rings), Skyhook Reserve Deployment System, Hook Knife Aluminum, Hackey Main Deployment Handle - two tone color black and white, Centerline Collapsible Main Pilot Chute, Deluxe Back Pad, Carry Handle on Backpack for SOV Container, Gear Bag-Black Large Sport, 1 CPS-VE-120 Velocity Navy Blue with 1 Black Stripe, 2 CPS-SP-190 Spectre Navy Blue with 1 Black Stripe, 1 CPS-SI-150 Silhouette Navy Blue with 1 Black Stripe, 1 CPS-PR-126 Yellow, 2 CPS-PR-193 Yellow and 1CPS-PR-160 Yellow. One (1) each CP Micron parachute system consisting of Variable Geometry Harness (Hip Rings), Skyhook Reserve Deployment System, Hook Knife Aluminum, Hackey Main Deployment Handle, two tone color black and white, Centerline Collapsible Main Pilot Chute, Deluxe Back Pad, Carry Handle on Backpack for SOV Container, Gearbag - Black Large Sport, Velocity 103 Navy Blue with 1 Black Stripe and CPS-PR-126 Yellow. This purchase is not suitable for full and open competition for the following reasons. USMC Students train on or with SF-A?s, MC-5, & Static Line configured parachutes. The instructors need these type of parachutes (MTTV?S) for observance of the student. Each part has been tested to perform to rigid requirements as specified in Marine Corps Order (MCO) 3500.20A for Marine Corps Parachuting and Diving Policy and Program Administration. Only those articles, which have been successfully tested, are qualified. The intent of the process is to provide maximum reasonable assurance that the mission can be completed. Only the equipment provided by Complete Parachute Solutions has been successfully! tested and qualified by the U.S. Marine Corps. A firm-fixed-price or der is anticipated. Award will be based on the written quotation. Delivery will be to the Naval Support Activity-Panama City, Receiving Officer, Building 100, 101 Vernon Avenue, Panama City, FL 32407-7018. Anticipated award date will be on or about September 22, 2006. NAICS Code 314999 applies. FSC is 1670. SBA Size Standard is 500 Employees.
