- PR 10187781. The Contracts Department at Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division (NAWCWD), Point Mugu, California, has a requirement to procure on an other than full and open competition basis, maintenance services for 1 year 1 each Scientific Atlanta Microwave Receiver and 4-channel Multiplexer. Statement of work is as follows: 1. Maintain the 1795 Microwave Receiver and 306486 4 channel Multiplexer, 0.1-20GHz in good operating condition. Maintenance to consist of scheduled preventative maintenance, calibration visits, and necessary remedial maintenance. Maintenance shall be provided on-site at NAWCWD, AMRAAM Hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) lab, Bldg 3015, Point Mugu, California. Period of performance is 01 Oct 06 through 30 Sep 07 (1 year). Microwave Instrumentation Technologies, LLC Scientific Atlanta is the only known provider of this maintenance service. As sole developer and maintainer of its proprietary hardware products they have the exclusive technical capability to provide the needed maintenance services. The following Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) clauses apply, but may not be limited to: Offeror is responsible for completing and returning with offer the following FAR clause: 52.212-3 Alt I Representations and Certifications. A written solicitation will not be issued. However any firms believing they can provide these services may submit a written response to be received at the Contracting Office no later than 21 September 2006, clearly showing the firm's ability to do so without compromising the quality, accuracy and reliability of the data or without causing programmatic hardship to the Government.
