- The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWC AD), Patuxent River, MD intends to negotiate and issue a Firm Fixed Price Type Contract for delivery of approximately 115 Upgrade Keyboards and 115 Upgrade Trackballs in support of the P-3C AIP Aircraft. The applicable NAICS is 334119. The size standard is 1,000 employees. Delivery will be FOB destination and the first delivery shall be within 45 days of contract award. The Upgrade Keyboard part number 60192 to the 60192-4 configuration, and Upgrade Trackball part number 60193 to the 60193-3 configuration. The period of performance for this effort will be 18 months. The Government intends to negotiate this contract on a sole source basis with Orbit Instrument Corp, a Division of Orbit International Corp, 80 Cabot Court, Hauppauge, NY 11788. This contract is to be issued under the statutory authority 10 U.S.C. 2304(c), (1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other services will satisfy agency requirements. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Interested parties may identify their interest and submit technical information and a technical capability statement in response to this notice. The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Contracts, shall consider responses. Responses without a return address, mailing address, and company telephone number will not be recognized. Proprietary data in the responses will be protected where so designated. NOTE: Contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database to be eligible for contract award or payment from any DOD activity. A determination not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
