- Description
- The Acquisition Department, National Naval Medical Center (NNMC) Bethesda, Maryland has a requirement for the Armed Services Blood Bank Center Department. NNMC intendss to award a Sole Source Procurement to Terumo Medical Corporation, Elkton, Maryland 21921 for a Triple Blood Bag System with Diversion Blood Sampling Arm. The minimum requirements for the Triple Blood System are: (1) 450ml primary collection bag (2) one satellite bag filled with AS5/OPTISOL Anticoagulant solution (3) two empty satellite bags for production of various blood components (4) a blood sampling arm site to allow the collection of blood into test tubes while maintaining a closed and sterile environment, (5) the abillity to store red blood cells for 42 days (6) FDA approval for use in the Blood Bank. This acquisition is being conducted under the guidelines as set forth in the Simplified Acquistion Procedures (SAP). Award will be contingent upon availability of FY07 Funding. See Note 22.
