Description
This solicitation will be available at http://ideasec.nbc.gov on or about October 2, 2006 with a quote receipt date of approximately 14 days following issuance. PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED AND TELEPHONE REQUESTS OR FAX REQUESTS FOR THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. Description: Lease a Harbor Passenger Vessel for Statue of Liberty National Monument, Liberty Island, New York, New York. Solicitation Number Q1940060838. The National Park Service intends to lease a Harbor Passenger Vessel which includes captain, crew and fuel with a minimum passenger capacity of seventy (70) persons for a period of sixty (60) days and an option to extend the lease if required by the Government. The vessel will be used to transport Park employees and guest between the Coast Guard Group , Battery Park, Ellis Island and Liberty Island in New York Harbor. The vessel shall make these runs according to a National Park Service Schedule. The National Park Service anticipates entering into a firm fixed-price contract as a result of this solicitation. This acquisition is reserved for Small Business concerns. The NAICS code for this project is 488310 with a small business size standard of $23.5 million. The contract performance period is 60 calendar days following Notice to Proceed. Expanded details will be described in the solicitation.
