Description

The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) anticipates awarding a contract on a sole soruce basis to Colorado State University. The criteria and indicators are available only through the Sustainable Rangelands Roundtable (SSR) associated with Colorado State University. SSR effectively worked on this effort since 2001. SSR has developed partners and to ensure they have an acceptable project. SSR promotes social, ecological and economic sustainability of rangelands through the development and widespread use of criteria and indicators for rangeland assessments and by providing a forum for dialogue on sustainability of rangelands. Solicitaions for potential sources is not recommended because SSR is the only organization that has the infrastructure to address these criteria and indicators for rangelands. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT IS FOR INFORMATION PURPOSE ONLY: NO COMPETITIVE RFQ WILL BE AVAILABLE. This award will be made on or about the 6th calendar day from the date this announcement appears. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 611310 Interested vendors may identify their interest and capability to respond. However, all responsible sources may submit a bid within five days of the date of the publication of this announcement, which will be considered by the Government. A determination not to continue with the acquisition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive acquisition.
