Description

The proposed contract action is for Rental of an Analyzer and purchase of Test reagents to the firm BioRad located in Germany which the Europe Regional Contracting Office intends solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR P art 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals, however, all proposals received within 12 days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Equipment and Supplies will be delivered to Pathology Virology Branch located at Landstuhl Regional Medical Center Building 3738, Room 103 in 66849 Landstuhl/K irchberg Germany. The place of performance will be US Hospital Landstuhl, Germany. The base period of performance will be from 01 Oct 2006 to 30 Sep 2007 with two 1-year options. The solicitation will be issued on or about 15 Sep 2006. This acquisition will be solicited in accordance with (IAW) Far Part 12-Acquisition of Commercial items. All prospective contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) in order to be eligible for award.
