This announcement constitutes the only solicitatio n; Quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Quotes are due back 5 days from the RFQ date. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring the FedBizOpps website at: w ww.fedbizopps.gov for current status of solicitations and amendments. All quotes received from responsible sources will be considered by this office. All offerors will be ineligible for award unless they have registered in the DoD Contracting Registration database at http://www.ccr.gov. All offerors will also include a schematic for user to view transformer dimensions. The contract type will be a Firm Fixed Price and the RFQ due date is 22 Sep 2006. Quotes will not be accepted after due date. This procureme nt is a Small Business Set-Aside The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 335311. The solicitation number is W912HQ-06-T-0032. The following FAR provisions apply: FAR 52.212-1, 52.212-3, 52.212-4, 52.212-5, 52.252-2. This request is for two (2) different types of transformers with a request for four of each: The first is for four (4) each Step-Up transformers, substation type, oil filled, size 2000KVA, three phase, 65 degree C rise, 60 hertz voltage rating, primary (output) 120/277 /480 vac, secondary voltage (output) 4,160 vac. General Characteristics: Welded on cover, Bolted on inspection plate, tamper proof high voltage terminal cabinet with a minimum of three (3) latching points, padlockable door and removable tamper proof low vo ltage terminal chamber cabinet with a minimum of three (3) latching points, padlockable door and removable bottom for conduit or cable entrance, lifting eyes with 1 ? inch hole, liquid level gauge, dial type thermometer, two (2) each stainless steel ground s pads, transformer filled with non P.C.B. mineral oil, bottom of transformer will be undercoated to prevent corrosion, automatic pressure relief valve, height will not exceed 85 inches to the top of the transformer, will not exceed 80 inches. The second is for four (4) each Substation type, oil filled, size 2500KVA, three phase, 65 degree C rise, 60 hertz voltage rating: 2400Delta X 4160Y/2400 X 720 Delta X 1270Y/7200-480Y/277 with taps in 8320-7970-7620-6928 Delta/14400Y-13800Y-13200Y-12470Y-12000Y volt s. General Characteristics: Welded on cover, bolted on inspection plate, tamper proof high voltage terminal chamber cabinet with a minimum of three (3) latching points, padlockable door and removable bottom for conduit or cable entrance, tamper proof low voltage terminal chamber cabinet with a minimum of three (3)latching points, padlockable door and removable bottom for conduit or cable entrance, lifting eyes with a 11/4 inch hole, liquid level gauge, dial type thermometer, externally operated no load tap changer lockable in any position, 2 each stainless steel ground pads, transformer filled with non P.C.B. mineral oil, externally no-load Delta-Wye switch, externally operated no-load dual voltage selector switch, bottom of transformer will be undercoated to prevent corrosion, automatic pressure relief valve, height will not exceed 85 inches to the top of the transformer, width will not exceed 80 inches.
