Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation W91364-06-T-0037 is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are thosse in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-11. This solicitaion is set-aside 100% for small business. The NAICS code that applies is 441229 and business size is $6,500,000. This action will result in a FFP purchase order utilizing simplified acquisition procedures under Fu ll and Open competition. This requirement is for an Enclosed Mobile Trailer to be used as a mobile emergency management command trailer, to include a ramp door, recessed lighting, a canopy, interior height of at least 6 ft., 2 in. (min.), overall width and length of 8 ft., 5 in. x 16 ft (approximate). The following options also need to be included: 60 in. Triple Tube Tongue; (2) 12V LX Deluxe Dome Light; (2) 500W Quartz Light w/ Recessed Housing; Honda Generator EV4010 RV-style 4KW; ATP Generator Box, Compl ete w/ Prep-Tongue Mount; 95.5 in. Aluminum L-Base Cabinet w/ Overhead; Electrical Option Package, includes: (2) 4 ft. flourescent lights w/ diffusers, (1) 110V switch, (2) 110V interior recepticles, (1) 30 amp breaker box with lifeline, (1) cable hatch. S uggested Manufacturer and Model is: Shadow Tandem 3500#. Looking for the same as, or comparable to, the above listed specifications. The bare trailer is a suggested product; however the listed specifications and options need to be as exact as you can provi de. Any extras to the trailer will be accepted; however keep in mind the overall price, as this will be one of the determining factors during the award process. Any brand names mentioned in the specifications are not a determining factor, but whatever is o ffered in place of them should be comparable to the performance of the stated products above. Please provide specs.(if available) along with price quote, as well as any charges (freight, etc.) that may be applicable to the overall cost. The Government will make an award to the responsible offeror whose offer is most conforming to the solicitation and is most advantageous to the Government. A completed signed copy of provision FAR 52.212-3 shall be s ubmitted with any quotation.
